What Was in Me?
What Was in Me?
The mountain is high enough
To touch the feet of the sky,
But not more than dedication,
My faith, about to fly.
The river is deep enough
To touch the wet earth,
But not more than my determination,
My goal, taken birth.
The wind is quick enough
To move old roots,
But not more than my enthusiasm,
My hard work will be your golden fruits.
But this infinite mountain
And the never-ending deep river,
When the fast-moving wind is there,
Was it ever in me?
