It All Starts With A SMILE

We smile as we greet our patients each day,
We comfort, laugh and with them pray,
Lend our ears, extend therapeutic hugs,
Enjoy the sight of a Mother’s first embrace
Of her new born babe…..
We go crazy – singing and dancing with children,
Or, go slow to help a grandma,
Walk down the corridor…
We are overwhelmed as we bid a patient goodbye,
And turn around in tears, to console the loved ones cry.
But , A Blessing it is indeed –
To witness both, life begin and end.
Beyond the paper work, the monitoring and the charting……
