My Precious Gems
I have friends like family,
The thought of leaving them kills me.
My cherished jewels are my friends,
And they are the greatest gift that God had sent.
Diamonds who love you,
Pearls who care for you,
Sapphires to guard and guide you,
In times you’re feeling blue.
“Bosom Buddies,” are hard to find,
Happy I’m blessed that way,
They are my responsibility to mind,
Cause, how can I give them away?
Twelve years of togetherness and now it’s time,
There are much more steps to climb,
Everything done in just a blink of an eye,
And now, it’s hard to say, “GoodBye.”
