I am always in search of the “why”,
Why does grief make me yearn for a different sky?
Where I constantly chase my dark ghosts,
Seeking a glimpse of the one I love the most.
Where words grow numb, and echoes are loud,
Silent shadows stand tall and proud.
Where peace is not a mirage but an oasis in the desert,
Yet helpless to shield me from my brutal hurt.
Where darkness becomes a soothing escape,
And my abandoned ship navigates a stormy cape.
Where thoughts linger in the middle of a flowing river,
Transforming me into a statue and crowned me with the heart of a giver.
