Introduction:
Artificial Intelligence, or AI, is something created to help children in the modern age. From its name, we understand that “Artificial” means man-made or fake, and “Intelligence” means wisdom or smartness. So, it can be both helpful and harmful for children today. In this article, we will talk about what AI is, it’s positive and negative sides, and how it affects education.

Benefits of Artificial Intelligence in Today’s Time
AI has thousands of benefits. Let me give you a few examples. If someone wants to create division between Muslims and Hindus, even that can be done through AI (though this is not a good use).
For instance, if I take a picture and want to add my name to it, I can do this easily using AI.
If teachers give us homework, we can complete it quickly with the help of AI, and it saves a lot of time. In today’s busy world, saving time is very important.
If I want to organize a program and need a poster for it, I can design one easily with AI. Even if I want to clean or improve a photo, AI can help with that too.
In short, almost everything can be done with AI nowadays.
These were some of the benefits of Artificial Intelligence.

Harms of Artificial Intelligence in Today’s Time
But AI also has many disadvantages. Let me explain.
If we start using AI for everything all the time, our brain will stop working on its own. We will stop thinking or searching for answers ourselves.
We will stop reading books or going to the library. This will take away our interest in learning and weaken our thinking ability.
For example, if a teacher asks us to read a topic from a book and answer it with references from the Quran and Hadith in the next class, we might skip the book and just ask AI to give us the answer.
If we had read the book ourselves, we would not only get the answer but also learn many new points and ideas. Even if we didn’t get the perfect answer, we would still learn something.
This would help us think from different angles.
So, AI is negatively affecting children’s education. Now you might ask:

How is Artificial Intelligence affecting children’s education?
The answer is: AI is slowly destroying real learning.
Let’s say a child wants to become a teacher. He studies hard for years and spends a lot of money. But by the time he completes his education, AI will become so common that every child may prefer learning from AI at home instead of real teachers.
So, that child’s hard work, time, and money will all go to waste. He won’t get proper use of his education, nor any benefit from it.
These are some of the harms of Artificial Intelligence
What is Artificial Intelligence?
Artificial Intelligence means a computer or machine that can think, learn, and make decisions like a human.
This is called Artificial Intelligence (AI).
The founder of this field is considered to be Alan Turing, who introduced the famous Turing Test in 1950 to check if machines could think like humans.
Later in 1956, John McCarthy used the term “Artificial Intelligence” at a conference in the USA, and this marked the beginning of AI as a science.

AI is no doubt helpful in many fields, but it also comes with many risks.
In my opinion, AI is harmful for children, especially in the field of education. It weakens their ability to think, learn, and do things on their own.
That’s why we should use Artificial Intelligence wisely, especially in education — so it becomes a tool for progress, not a reason for downfall.
