I Know a Man

I know a man
Who wandered in the forest
Chirping songs
Friends with the animals
Drank from the streams
Ran on the mountains
Chased the clouds
Slept under the sky
He had food,
Sex
And water
More than the children of Somalia
His untamed laughter and the cries
Resounded in the forest
Day and night.
He often visits in my dreams
With his clear eyes
Looks at me and smiles
Are you happy my child
With so much circumscribed.
