The Innocent Liar
The Innocent Liar
———————- Whenever the little one
Speaks the truth
He is undone
What treat !
Did you eat ?
At the gala party ,
Nothing but slapped ;
Pushed me at my back;
A little pie of cake;
Thrown out of door
Sobbing & weeping ;
Watching the party;
Don’t believe !
He’s a liar ;a liar.
They were having ,
Chicken !
He was dragged ,
Is punished;
To the corner !
You;the liar ,
You’r a liar,
You will be given
Nothing
Hunger is the way!
Stay away .
He was given,
An eaten piece,
Of bread!
He told,
The naked truth.
They were not ;
Ashamed :
They blamed ,
Him Instead !
He was again,
Called A liar, A liar.
One can not ,
Hold the truth ,
For longer!
The innocent sigh,
Will prick in the deep;
You’ll not be able ;
To weep!
Because it’s you
Who’s a liar;the liar!
The truth is thrown ,
On the untrodden ways,
He still stands and waits ,
The truth prevails ;
The innocent says
I am’t a liar;the liar
He sobs and sobs
