Sentenced To A World Without You For All Time.
I didn’t know how long you had been breathing deep in my heart,
So distant, a mystery to me, my vital piece that couldn’t be impart.
I never yearned to unlock the doors, sealed tight,
Yet you, like the sun’s rays, emerged after each dark night.
Your smile jeopardized my mature thoughts like hell,
Awaking my inner child, as if you had cast some spell.
The sleep felt so warm when I lay in your arms,
So confident in the moment and feeling secure from all harm.
The rain danced on the green leaves and made a picturesque view,
My soul then confirmed that I was destined to be with you.
The specialty of good times is that they always remain fresh in your eye,
When we wept together, it made me laugh, and the laughing moments made me cry.
Loneliness, at times, haunted me, and I pondered why,
Our time together was brief, a whispered sigh.
Living life now feels like an unjust crime,
Sentenced to a world without you for all time.
