Oh, what to do?

Tinsel streamers, papers and paints,
Floor of knots, coloured spots and sprays,
Pins, needles, markers, brushes all a strew,
The holiday mess; Oh, what to do?

Cushions and cards scattered till the door,
Cookies crumbled, crumbs galore.
Towels and clothes wet and hung in disarray,
Oh, what to do?? It’s the long holiday.

Yet amidst the chaos, laughter rings,
As we celebrate the joy that the season brings.
So let the mess be, we’ll clean it later on,
Oh, what to do??? After all, it is HOLIDAY FUN!!!
