Leaning on your shoulder, the world melts away,
Lost in your whispers, bathed in the light of your day.
We talk nonsense for hours, laughters we share,
Weaving a tapestry with every word we declare.

Vanilla lingers in the air, the scent of your sweet perfume,
A warmth spreads through me, chasing away the afternoon gloom.
Even when I’m not with you, you captivate my mind.
Your presence lingers in my soul, no escape I can find.

My cheeks burn crimson, a smile I can’t hide,
Even the pigeons outside think I’ve surely gone giddy-eyed.
A nervous flutter, a rhythm that skips a beat,
Your voice an echo, a melody ever so sweet.

I once was scared, words I’d never dare to share,
But in your gentle eyes, I found solace and a silent prayer.
My tongue stumbles, words caught in my throat,
A nervous laugh escapes, a silly, joyful note.

Our love’s like flowers, blossoming side-by-side,
Two melodies merging, a harmony entwined.
Hand in hand, we’ll chase the setting sun,
Building castles in the clouds, dreams yet to be won.

The new love I’ve found, keeps me on the ninth cloud.
