” A WISE ENEMY IS FAR BETTER THAN A FOOLISH FRIEND”

======================================
Actually, it is an idiom in the literature. We compare the foolish friends with a wise enemy. Generally, we prefer the wise enemy rather than foolish friends. But I don’t appreciate the above idiom. Nobody would be associated with foolish friends. We want to be a friend with an intelligent man. There are many things to exchange with friends. It is completely impractical to keep the above idiom. As far as the question of the wise enemy, I don’t think that anybody would like the enemy. The enemy is the enemy. Once we consider that he is an enemy whether he is wise or foolish. We never recognize them. It might have happened in any circumstances and made this proverb. But we can slightly change the sentence of the above idiom ” POSITIVE FRIENDS DWELL ALWAYS IN THE HEART RATHER THAN NEGATIVE FRIENDS ” We spread our arms to make our friends without filtering them. It is not necessary that he had been a close friend since childhood. Many changes could take place. Our vision and approach may differ. We liked everything in childhood but everything is changed as we grew up. They may dislike my activities. Now it is quite clear that they are wise but have a negative attitude. Friendship is based on mutual understanding, respecting each other, cooperating in every situation, etc. If you are not matching with them, there is no chance to stay friendship longer. Then there is no harm to repeat the old idiom ” A WISE ENEMY IS FAR BETTER THAN A FOOLISH FRIEND”
