6. GREAT MOTHER ( An Acrostic Poem )
G oddess herself comes to me indeed,
R ich in love and affection in her breed.
E lated and grateful I’m to be born of you.
A nd ever since I opened my eyes I knew,
T o your lap I stuck and gradually grew.
M y being I owe to you for you’ve given.
O Mother! To me you’re a real heaven.
T ravails unknown you’ve gone through.
H ow Nature envied your nurture’s hue!
E ven I can ne’er pay the maternal debt.
R ound the life I would pray for you to get.
