21. Tale of An Eve
I am a baby- a baby in my babyhood.
Why in me do you see womanhood?
Let me grow up and identify myself.
Let the woman in me meet herself.
A daughter, a sister, a wife, a mother,
Sometimes I take the role of a father.
Preying on me you abuse all kinship
And make me go through all hardship.
When the life for Adam was solitary,
God created Eve as Adam’s only fairy.
The two words ‘wife’ and ‘man’ joined.
That’s how the word ‘woman’ is coined.
An Eve does make your life worth living.
Like you Adams, Eves are human being.
To all Eves here, respect must be given.
For Eves are a wonderful gift of heaven.
