10. Fatherly Throes
A one-off day every year we celebrate.
To someone very special we dedicate.
On Father’s day affections pour in filial.
We pride ourselves on being his lineal.
He craves for love and care every day.
But we are relentless to let it go away.
We do reign over his paternal kingdom.
But we ruthlessly restrict his freedom.
To raise us he did sweat blood and all.
Tears cloud his eyes as he does recall.
His bones sap, his muscles get shrunk.
But we do busy ourselves being a hunk.
His senile wants are left uncared-for.
Pissed off, the father is shown the door.
Alas!For this day to witness he sired us!
And he deserved an old age home thus
