Why does Not Heaven Have Visiting Hours?
The night has started to darken gradually,
And my thoughts have been wandering to you, actually.
The breaths have choked, and the heart has been bleeding,
I know I am stuck and where it is leading.
The voice of yours is ringing in my ear,
Even when I know it’s just an illusion, it will disappear.
Why doesn’t Heaven have visiting hours?
If it had, I would have crossed every ocean and climbed every mountain to make it ours.
See, the clouds come and make their way through my eyes to rain,
It seems you build a staircase and want to come down and meet me again.
Now, it’s the only way our meetings are written in HIS scripts,
Sometimes you have to become the tears in my eyelashes,
And sometimes, you become the smile on my lips.
