we were that excited growing up. we were once excited.
the thought of buying things we once prayed for with our own money. living our dream house. traveling to places we have never been to. riding in our dream car, and the list goes on and on motivate us.
but we’re here now—we’ve gone far but not enough. we have realized things would never be that easy. that it takes so much courage and energy to actually live them. it’s draining, disappointing, exhausting somehow to catch up every missed train and catch every rain drop.
now we prayed to go back to days when things were a little less hard for us—days when we had much fun, we had much memorable moments and days when we enjoyed the little tiny ones with a genuine smile in our hearts.
cheers to us who chose to continue braving, risking and taking steps further.
