The Lonely Traveler
Today, I visited your grave once again,
And couldn’t stop the memories of that rain.
I tried to touch your soul despite knowing the pain.
What do I do? Your intoxicating love is running like cocaine.
I wanted to break each and every chain,
Because your absence was the only thing I couldn’t obtain.
Our dreams are still dancing like a ghost in my brain,
And your laughter echoes in my sleep; I must be insane.
Someone asked about the inspiration I contain,
God has snatched my life, which I can’t explain.
It shattered my soul, but I have no complaint,
Because he keeps you in heaven, where only happiness remains.
And I became a traveler whose life remains on a lonely train.
