Only Love Remains
We are living in such a fantastic age,
Where relationships are nothing but mirage!
People get attracted to your positivity and pretty face,
And start to slaughter your heart gradually. What a bloody disgrace.
Initially, they fill your life with words of care,
And, finally, stab your soul beyond repair.
They will never hesitate a second to hold your hands,
But one day, let you slip away like the desert’s sand.
They will hallucinate you as the person of their words.
And you get lost in them as your vision gets blurred.
They come to you even knowing that you are a crumbled wall.
And to take away your bricks and make you brutally fall.
Yes, every cut is a lesson, and it makes you better.
But what about the bitterness which they left even greater.
The transient world can offer you only pains,
Understand that you can take away nothing from here, but only love remains.
