How do you want to be loved?
How do you want to be loved?
I want a love ,That’s chaste but visceral;
Intransigent but incessant.
I don’t want to be,A passing fancy;
Or a gush of wind,That’s gone as soon as it comes.
I want to be held,With softness like that of flowers;
And I want to be held,With valour like that of mountains.
I’m not looking for something to fix me,But something to smooth out the edges.Not something to fill the void,But something to catch the overflow.
I’m not mad .I just want a love,
That’s wild and outrageous;Simple and ageless;
All at the same time.
