Being corrected means we have been wrong , so it can be difficult to give and receive corrections.

However, if the people we surround ourselves with truly love us, they seek our highest good. It means helping us walk in the right path and supporting what’s best for us. This includes the difficult task of addressing the behavior in question-with love and through love. People who truly love us aren’t scared to speak the truth to us, for they hate to see us ruin ourselves. They don’t tolerate wrongdoing and challenge our choices when it can potentially harm us.

Corrections hurt and they are always uncomfortable; but we’d rather be hurting but growing, than comfortable but perishing.
