Attraction
Like a moth to a flame, and a peacock in the rain,
My logic surrenders, driven by a sweet, strange strain.
A magnetic pull so strong, fuels a thrilling campaign,
Like gravity, a current, an invisible chain.
Your eyes, so majestic, an ocean deep,
They hold me captive, secrets I long to keep.
Your voice, a siren’s call, I just can’t resist,
As you whisper in my ears, (words left unspoken, a delicious twist)
Your lips, a cupid’s bow, a smile that sets my soul ablaze,
Lost in a sea of wonder, on a love’s enchanting gaze.
As you brush your fingers through your windswept hair,
I watch in awe, a flutter in my heart, a feeling unaware.
I try to gather my heart, not to be swayed by your charm,
But your simple gaze, sets a flurry of butterflies in alarm.
Like a wildfire yearning for the open sky,
My heart races, a captive in your mesmerizing eye.
