A Departed Soul Can Never Come Again.
I am holding you in my memories; take a look,
Like that dried flower resting inside my favorite book.
My heart is looking out for your whispers once again,
Like you used to cross my lanes now and then.
Rest and peace are lost like a missed train,
And I am wandering alone somewhere in the midst plain.
Tears are on the eyelashes not for an unnecessary reason,
Why did you have to leave in my coldest season?
I just hate this state of suspension,
Did I find you or lose you? It’s great confusion.
I know you can’t come even if you desire,
Then why did you leave me alone in this burning fire?
You often melted in the dark nights,
Becoming the broken star for my teary eyesights.
Now, you love to awaken me from the haunted dreams,
And want to brush away the forming tears, it seems.
The sound of any footsteps drags me towards you,
I know a departed soul can never come again, even though.
