When The Soul Screams
They want me to forget the bruises on the skin,
So, that they can minimize their sin.
They want me to think they were not intentional,
I am not the one who is exceptional.
They want me to close my eyes with an imaginary veil,
So, that they can sing their fake tale.
They think the intention can heal the wound,
Like a new station has just tuned.
They think the apology is enough to soothe the pain,
Like, it will not hurt again.
They think the fake tears can eliminate the scars,
Like the ensanguine fields after the wars.
They mention the multiple knives already pierced at my back,
And their ones have lost track.
They want me to live in new dreams,
But what should I do when the soul screams.
