Silent onlookers
Silent onlookers
Looming fears of another lockdown and virus …
restricting my movement once again
I was sad ….
Sitting on my bed With an iPad …
Searching and wasting time in multiple things …
which I knew , I would never do or listen ..
I was real busy without any business ….
Than came a soft silky tone
From my cabinet !
Hey , why not move your fingers on us
We are also feeling suffocated and depressed ..
I opened the cabinet and lo & behold
Wat a chaos …
There was no social distancing to be seen ..
All my five yard
raw rustling silks and my starched stiff cottons …
My ever famous disobedient organzas
Royal chiffons and pompous georgettes
Were busy complaining ..
Poor things …
They were ecstatic till few days back
All ready for an outing and compliments
Full of new vigour and energy
To be seen again with their other new variety friends
But what luck …
Omicron has just banged their dreams
And dashed their hopes
Making their wait to be taken away
To an endless regime once again…
I really felt sad for them
All my sympathies were there
But wat to do
Nighties and payjamas were on the throne once again…
