“Mistake”
Life is not what I perceived it to be
All I wanted was peace, It was taken away from me
Whiskey, where’s my release?

I walked around midnight,But I went the wrong way
To everyone’s delight,Now, is this yesterday?

If I say goodnight, will it be my last?
I slept in a dream in the morning light
Who will read the poems of my past?
Mistake blue, black pen reads right

I was looking through a vision
So many faults out there,It’s time for a decision
Truth or Dare?

A fleeting moment passed me by
It was a time I touched my fate,
I think this is my last goodbye
The world needs heroes,
I’m just a mistake
