Everyone’s got to be a grandnan’s pet,
And I guess I’m one of them.
She’s the most warrious person I’ve ever met,
And there she comes to tempt.
She’d never let her daughter scold me,
Cause, I charm her with my puppy dog eyes.
My mother says she’s spoiling me,
As soon as she calls out for pies.
My nana, is really skilled,
Specially when we buy groceries,
We’d be stilled,
When she buys an apple for ten rupees.
The good ol’,” Back in my day…”stories,
Would just put me in awe.
How she crossed two rivers and prairies,
Just to get to school, Oh God!
I love my granny,
She’s humble, honest and much more.
We’d often go out for a shopping spree,
And we all love her to the core.
