“Friends are for ever”

Friends are like gems,
some looking heavy, some lighter.
but when woven together,
candidly, look much brighter.

Why to breed differences,
a thought to ponder.
Each one smart, some smarter,
but to beat anyone, still harder.

Each one laden with responsibilities,,
some if lesser, some larger.
Cherishing the old memories,
but still, a lot to garner.

Whether in grief, dejection or blues,
friends are there to look after.
Candidly, the renewable source,
of endless, refreshing laughter.

whenever needed, start afresh,
make a new charter.
What else can I say,
but relationships to be warmer.

Meeting after too long,
may certainly look charmer.
but there’s no gain,
if confusions harbour.

Gathering even in forest,
enjoying with vigour and fervor.
Singing the real song of life,
a rhyme without a rhymer.

Bewildered become I,
when misunderstandings usher.
It’s not a question of a day or two,
the friends are for ever…!
