All of a sudden, everything feels unfair. You pour yourself into the person you love, the efforts, the assurances, all the love you can give that you don’t even bother giving to yourself, but you felt like it wasn’t enough and something was wrong, and yet in the midst of finding yourself, you realized that you’re like a blueprint designed to be someone’s happiness when they have no choice and will drop your hand when the situation isn’t in their favor. And today, I hope you realize that you should pick yourself, your tranquility, and not allow someone to take advantage of your heart. Why? Because you deserve more than to be someone’s alternative; you deserve to be with someone who will tell you that you are not alone and will not make you feel that way; someone who is proud of you and will not make you feel as if you need to hide behind the scenes. You deserve the love you generously give to others, and I hope one day you will realize the true meaning of self-love.
