9.The Endless Search
I am missing something
I am in a vacuum
A sense of dullness
Overpower me and my existence
My hands are searching
My brain is perching
On the highest twig of the tree
Perhaps I want to peep deep
In the caveran of the sky
But the sky is too high
I do not want to settle for less
I want to try and again try
Though with feeble hands
I want to regain again the
Bubbling wavered of energy
To rise and climb to the high altitude
To touch the sky
To see it’s contours
How far is its expanse
Is there any end?
Whisperings are continuing
Constantly telling me
Why I can’t confine to
My Mother Earth
Assuage her ruffled feelings
Due to her over-exploited resources
Disturbing her equilibrium.
The oceans are put to turmoil
By the warring ships
The temperature has gone beyond limits
The hissing waves are bent upon
Engulfing humanity
The Earth is wondering
Why it is loosing it’s serenity
