25. Dream
A dream is nothing but a hallucination.
A reverie and a figment of imagination.
Asleep or awake, it opiates the eyes.
A bizzare train of thoughts does arise.
A host of fancies cheers and brightens.
A ghost of fantasies at times frightens.
The real and the unreal get adulterated.
Phantasms sometimes are exaggerated.
Some gullibles do believe in their vision.
Dreams cheat on them without a reason.
Let dreams never build a make-believe.
Or else you will find only yourself grieve.
