‘Welcome rains!’
With rains in the offing and dryness gone,
Humid sunshine, piercing as if thorn ;
Blooming flowers, lily and rose,
Pleasing everyone, young and old.
Slow and pleasant, morning breeze,
Ready to make, anyone’s heart seize,
Beloved’s memory, coming as fragrance,
So much delightful, its candid endurance.
Nascent leaves, and birds chirping,
Leaves no doubt, the clouds are coming.
Cuckoos rhyme, humbirds flying,
Soothing someone’s, heart, if crying.
Peacock dancing, full of joy,
Make all merry, nature’s ploy.
Blackberry, mangoes, ready to ripe,
Nature’s blessings, need no hype.
Beautiful mild, drops of dew,
Scenes like that, are, though quite few.
Roaming around, pretty butterflies,
As if, meant to be, nature’s delight.
Blackbees howering, around flowers,
Singing a song, to call the showers.
Frogs croaking, with hopes high,
Awsome rainbow, in the sky.
