The Send-Off Moments

It was ever hard to think about that send-off moment,
When I had to say goodbye to time’s precious gift.
You came to me like a fresh gust of wind,
And unknowingly with which my soul decided to entwine.
Your eye did shine with the same emptiness and detachment,
Which, I was carrying so long for my peacefulness and empowerment.
You had so many questions on your lips for me, but
What would I do, whenever I tried to answer them our words meet!
There was so much uncommonness between us,
But whenever we opened up, even our individuality cheated us.
I love the way you called me your shooting star,
I promise to guide you with my light and watch over you day and night from this far.
I know the distance between us is not going to reduce soon and we have to be long apart.
But destiny promised that we will be together again and
always be each in others’ hearts, even if the oceans divide us apart.
