The Dark Night

The thunder clouds covered the sky,
And the sprinkles converted into a downpour from a height.
The dusk wrapped up all my dreams,
And the love found its way to vamoose from my sight.
The loneliness started to scare me overnights,
And the grief-stricken me like a snake-bite.
The tears drifted away without a knock from my eyes,
And the time stopped like wandering through the infinite.
The memories laughed from the darkest side,
But the Hope said, stay stronger it’s just a dark night,
And eventually sunshine is waiting at the other side.
