Some battles are not for us to win- and some battles are not for us to win yet.

I am proud of you for trying and for giving your best. I am proud of you for putting yourself out there despite the uncertainty and the fear. People say that all we need is hard work and consistency but sometimes, things just don’t happen the way we had hoped to. However, that doesn’t mean that you shouldn’t have tried or that you shouldn’t have hoped so much in the first place. Trying has merits. Maybe someday, the opportunity will come again and on that time, you won’t have to take the steps blindly and you won’t have to start from scratch again.

Some battles are not for us to win- and some battles are not for us to win yet. God has his ways of giving us what we need at his right time-even if sometimes, what we need is to give up and walk away.
