In Love, Solitude
In Love, Solitude
In love, who can truly bear solitude?
Loneliness brings with it an ocean of tears.
Whenever the nights pass in isolation,
They carry with them a crowd of restless turns.
Ask the lonely lover the state of love —
Each passing moment feels like a century.
At times, solitude makes me feel divine,
At times, it leaves me weeping for hours.
May God never grant solitude to one who loves,
For loneliness seems worse than death itself.
The lonely nights have their own reward —
The next morning retells the tale of the night before.
