The heart that never gave up
Firdaus Kanga was born in a rare condition that caused his bones to become extremely weak. Kanga was known as a novelist and performer. They can break easily, even with a small touch. Therefore, he spent his life in a wheelchair. Many people looked at him and thought, “He won’t be able to do anything or achieve success.” But Firdaus never believed that and never gave up.
When he was an adult, he found that he was so interested in reading books and writing. While other kids ran around, Firdaus traveled in his mind. He read stories, wrote his thoughts, and dreamed big—even when his life was painful. Instead of feeling sorry for himself, he put all his effort into his dreams.And he didn’t stop there.
Firdaus grew up to become a writer and even an actor. His words touched people’s feelings. His performances made them think. Through his skills, he demonstrate, the world what it really means to live with a disability—not with sadness, but with power, joy, and self-respect.
Firdaus’s life instructs us something we all need to remember: It’s not the body that limits us—it’s our thoughts. If you believe in yourself and , if you’re strong enough to try, you can rise—even when the world tells you it’s impossible.
With every word he wrote and every moment he lived, Firdaus reminded us to be kind. To look beyond someone’s appearance. To see the person—the soul, the dreams, the bravery.People doubted him. But he kept moving forward.
He showed us that everyone matters. Everyone has merit and self respect.
His life wasn’t easy, instead it was full of purposes and a lot of dreams. He stay
