Navratri
In the light of autumn’s grace, we celebrate,
Nine nights of Navratri, a joyous fate,
Goddess Durga, fierce and divine,
Her strength and love in every shrine.
Day one begins with Shailaputri’s might,
Riding Nandi, a glorious sight,
Brahmacharini on the second day,
Austerity and wisdom lead the way.
Chandraghanta, on day three’s embrace,
With a crescent moon, she shows her grace,
Kushmanda’s radiance on day four shines,
The creator of all, in her design.
Skandamata, the mother of Kartikeya,
Blesses us on day five, with love so pure,
Katyayani, fierce and bold,
On day six, her tale is told.
On the seventh day, Kalratri’s fierce form,
Destroys evil with a raging storm,
Mahagauri on day eight, so fair,
Pure and radiant, beyond compare.
Siddhidatri, on the ninth night’s call,
Grants us boons and blessings for all,
Navratri’s dance, a divine connection,
A celebration of life, in every direction.
May these nights of Navratri bring,
Joy, love, and blessings under her wing,
With devotion in our hearts, we pray,
For peace and prosperity on this sacred day.
